Jen’s Anti-Oxidant Microgreen Superfood Salad
• 3 Cups (or more) of any your favorite Seed2Source Microgreens
• Cubed Beets (1 medium-sized Beet Bulb)
• Cubed Avocado (1)
• Hemp or Sunflower Seeds (1 tablespoon)
• Shredded Carrots (1/2 Cup)
• Braggs Amino Acids (1 tablespoon)
• Olive Oil (1 tablespoon)
• Organic Lemon Juice (1 tablespoon)
• Garlic (2 diced or mushed Cloves)
Directions: Simply whisk / mix all Salad Dressing ingredients together and toss with Seed2Source Microgreens. Done in less than 5 minutes! Add additional lean proteins if desired.
Jen’s Anti-Oxidant Beet Soup
*Using only a few simple ingredients:
Beets are known for their blood cleansing capability and include iron, vitamin A, C, B1 and B2. The leaves are somewhat bitter, but they have a lot of chlorophyll and a higher nutrient value than the root.
You will need 4 whole beet including the stems and leaves, organic butter, organic vegetable (or chicken) broth, 1 clove of garlic, Braggs™ Amino Acids and Pepper.
First you will need to cube the beets and Saute in the vegetable broth until tender. Next you will need to sauté the stems, leaves and sliced in butter until slightly soft. Add the stems, leaves and garlic to beets and cover with the remainder of the vegetable broth. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add Braggs Amino Acids and Pepper to Taste.
*Nutrient Tip: Never boil soups (or any other foods, really) as they lose their nutrient value.
